Quick answers

Multi-device keyboard questions

How many hosts can be paired at once?

The samples pair with multiple hosts across Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, and wired. The exact number of stored slots varies by model.

Does switching hosts require software?

No. The switch is a key combination on the board. No host-side software is needed to move between paired devices.

Can it stay wired while paired to other hosts?

Yes. The wired link can be the active connection while other hosts remain paired. You can move back to a wireless host with the switch command.

Do all layouts in this form have a number pad?

No. The samples include 75 percent and 99-key layouts without a separate number pad, and full-size layouts with one.

One board, several hosts

These are mechanical keyboards that pair with more than one host and switch between them without unplugging. The connection set is Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, and USB-C wired, and the board holds pairings for each. A key combination moves the active link from a computer to a tablet to a phone.

How it differs from a single-link board

A wired-only board has one host and no pairing memory. A wireless board with one radio has one host at a time and no stored list. The multi-device board keeps the host list and the switch command on the keyboard itself, so the change happens at the board rather than at the host.

Layouts and details in this form

The samples include 75 percent, 99-key, and full-size layouts. Some models add a number pad and a knob. Cases come in white, brown, gray, and black, and keycaps are often PBT with side printing.
